The new update fixes GPU Boost for Virtual Reality games

Just now, NVIDIA has rolled out its 368.81 GeForce Graphics driver version compatible with both desktop and notebook configurations, which promises to fix the problem with GPU Boost for Virtual Reality (VR) games.

This new update should provide an optimal gaming experience for new and upcoming VR titles, including NVIDIA VR Funhouse, Everest VR, Obduction, Raw Data, and The Assembly. Also, it allows GeForce GTX 1080, 1070, and 980 Ti customers to download NVIDIA VR Funhouse from Steam.

In addition to that, NVIDIA’s present release also supports the new Ansel technology available in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, fixes Vive that didn’t work properly with mini-DisplayPort, and resolves tearing spotted in windowed apps after installing Release 364.xx drivers.

Last but not least, version 368.81 prevents ArcheAge’s GameGuard module from crashing in nvinit.dll when CreateProcess() is called (only when parameters are greater than 260 bytes), and fixes corruptions seen when booting on DVI in certain situations.

When it comes to compatibility, the update can be applied on both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. However, take into account that notebook configurations do not support Windows XP and Vista.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 368.81 for your specific OS and bit architecture, apply it, perform a reboot upon completion, and check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
