NVIDIA has made available for download a Windows USB driver for its Tegra NOTE 7 tablet, which helps computers recognize the device, as well as use it with Android Debug Bridge (ADB), Android FastBoot, and NVIDIA AndroidWorks.

Even though Windows platforms usually apply a generic driver that allows systems to recognize the device and exchange files, you will still have to install this package in order to benefit from these advanced tools.

In terms of compatibility, this release can be applied on any computer configuration that is powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes, as well as its latest Windows 10 operating system.

However, bear in mind that you will need to install additional packages in order to benefit from ADB, FastBoot or AndroidWorks.

Moreover, take into account that using these tools will be done at your own risk, as improper usage might damage or even brick your NOTE 7 tablet. NVIDIA cannot be held responsible for any malfunctions encountered as a result of running incorrect commands.

That being said, if you intend to try out these advanced tools on your device, simply download NVIDIA Tegra NOTE 7 Tablet USB Driver, apply it on your computer, install the additional programs, and start customizing.
