NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new Vulkan GeForce and Quadro Graphics driver targeted at both desktop and notebook configurations, namely version 377.01 beta (or 21.21.13.7701), which manages to resolve an issue encountered with SteamVR shaders.

In terms of compatibility, the producer has provided 2 (two) downloadable packages suitable for each 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 platforms, as well as another two executables targeted at the same bit architectures of Windows 10.

However, since other OSes might also seem compatible at first, do not try installing these files on different platforms than the ones mentioned above, as this can lead to various malfunctions that will require you to remove and reinstall the previous driver.

Therefore, save the appropriate executable for your system configuration, run it and wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Vulkan Driver 377.01 Beta, apply it to enjoy these new changes, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
