The new driver update includes performance counters support

Just now, NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Quadro graphics driver, namely 368.22 beta, which is part of its R367 Optimal files for Enterprise [ODE] driver branch and includes a few NVWMI, Optimus, and OpenGL changes.

Before listing the improvements, you should know that NVIDIA has provided several downloadable executables compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems.

In addition to that, even though both desktop and notebook configurations are supported, bear in mind that Windows Vista (either bit architecture) isn’t compatible with notebooks, so don’t try installing this update on such systems.

As for Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 changes, NVIDIA has managed to add controls to configure display Cloning, performance counters for PCIe link widths, speeds and bus usage, as well as Vulkan 3D app support for Optimus Technology.

As for Windows 10, besides performance counters and Vulkan 3D applications support, the producer has also implemented preliminary OpenGL compatibility for cluster synchronization with Swap Groups and Barriers (fullscreen apps).

Considering all of the above, if you intend to apply the present beta package, first save the appropriate driver suitable for your computer, run it, wait for all files to be extracted, and follow all instructions for a complete upgrade.

Moreover, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a computer reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this isn’t requested automatically, make sure to carry it out manually.

With this in mind, download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 368.22 Beta, apply it and enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us as often as possible to be aware when a newer, hopefully stable version is available.
