NVIDIA has made available the download links that provide the 3.0.0 OTA Firmware compatible with the producer’s Tegra Note 7 LTE and WiFi tablet models, which might improve the system’s overall performance and stability.

In order to be clearer, the present firmware update is compatible with NVIDIA’s P1988W and TN7CW WiFi variant devices, as well as with its P1988 and TN7C LTE tablet models.

As for the installation process, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the update steps prior to initiating the flash process. Failing to upgrade to this firmware version might lead to various device malfunctions, and can even render the tablet unusable.

With this in mind, save the appropriate downloadable archive for your specific device model, and make sure ADB and FastBoot that are part of the Android SDK are present and accessible on your computer.

Afterwards, connect your Tegra Note 7 to the computer using a USB cable, make sure your tablet’s bootloader is unlocked (won’t work otherwise), and put the device into fastboot mode (detailed steps are highlighted on the description page).

Now, from the folder where you have saved the archive and extracted the recovery image package to, follow the commands below in order to upgrade your Tegra’s firmware version.

Commands
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash system system.img fastboot flash userdata userdata.img fastboot flash staging blob fastboot flash dtb tegra114-roth.dtb

Considering all aforementioned aspects, download NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 Tablet OTA Firmware 3.0.0, carefully apply it on your device, and constantly check our website in order to be informed when a newer version is available for download.
