NVIDIA has made available a new version of its GeForce and Quadro graphics drivers, namely build 378.66, which implements support for High-bit-depth (10/12-bit) decoding, OpenGL input surface, and Weighted Prediction, and adds various H.264 ME-only mode enhancements.

In addition to that, the GeForce release provides an optimal gaming experience for Sniper Elite 4, For Honor, and Halo Wars 2 titles, fixes XGPU and GeForce GTX 1080 Surround issues, and corrects flickering spotted in The Division (after enabling PCSS) and Battlefield 1 (when using TAA).

Moreover, the update resolves Heroes of Storm and other DirectX game crashes encountered on GeForce GTX 1080 or GeForce 860M cards, makes sure GeForce GTX 980 Ti detects multiple TV models, and implements several other changes.

When it comes to the new Quadro version, this driver includes support for NVIDIA’s Quadro P4000, P2000, P1000, P600, and P400 graphic cards, as well as for the Quadro GP100 GPU model.

As for supported OSes, the available files are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems; make sure to download and install the appropriate one for your desktop or notebook configuration.

Therefore, save and run the downloadable executable, follow all instructions displayed on the screen, and make sure to perform a system reboot once finished to allow all changes to take effect properly.
