The release includes security updates for driver components

NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Tesla graphics driver, namely build 369.49 (21.21.13.6949​), which includes a few security updates for driver components, as well as support for Tesla P40 GPU model.

In terms of compatibility, the producer has provided several downloadable packages developed for the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, as well as for the Windows Server 2008 R2 64, Server 2012 R2 64, and Server 2016 platforms.

As for supported components, the present release is suitable for certain models included in NVIDIA’s P-Series, K-Series, C-Class, and X-Class GPU devices. Make sure to check whether or not your configuration in supported.

With this in mind, to apply version 369.49 correctly, save the appropriate package for your computer, run it and wait for all files required for the upgrade to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete installation.

In addition to that, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. Make sure to carry out this task manually if the wizard doesn’t request this step automatically.
