Just now, NVIDIA has released a new version of its Quadro graphics drivers, namely 348.40, which updates profiles for InnovMetric and REDCINE-X PRO applications, adds new executables for FieldView app’s profiles, and more.

Specifically speaking, version 348.40 resolves an issue spotted on Quadro 6000 cards, where the “Use Graphics Processor” option from Adobe Photoshop’s menu is grayed out after changing display modes.

In addition to that, NVIDIA has also managed to fix the Rhino 5 crashes encountered when opening the LEGO scene file due to IrayRender.cpp.

When it comes to compatibility, the producer has provided several packages suitable for botk desktop and notebook devices running a Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 platform, either 32- or 64-bit variant. However, bear in mind that notebooks do not support Vista OSes.

Moreover, desktop configurations also benefit from an additional file that can be installed under Microsoft’s 64-bit architecture of its Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2 operating systems.

Considering all of the above, if you intend to apply this package, simply save the appropriate one for your device, run it, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete upgrade.
