Just now, NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new GRID graphics driver, namely version 347.70, which adds compatibility with the 2.3.7 GRID SDK and is suitable only for the producer’s GRID K520 and K340 GPUs.

In addition to that, this update also includes support for NVIDIA’s CUDA 5.5 version, Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) 4.3, and Open Computing Language (OpenCL) 1.1, as well as for DirectX 9, 10, and 11.

When it comes to compatible operating systems, version 347.70 is to be applied only on computers including a valid GPU, and which is powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2 platforms (only 64-bit architectures).

As for installation, simply ensure your configuration is suitable for this release, save and run the downloadable executable, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Moreover, once the new driver has been applied, make sure to allow the wizard to automatically reboot your computer. If this task isn’t requested, it would be a good idea to perform it manually so that all changes can take effect properly.
