Just now, NVIDIA has made available a new version of its GeForce Game Ready Graphics Driver, namely 361.43, which adds GameWorks VR 1.1 compatibility and includes VR SLI support for OpenGL apps, as well as support for the latest Oculus SDK.

Regarding suitable OSes, this release is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, both 32- and 64-bit variants, and for both desktop and notebook configurations. However, bear in mind that Windows Vista and XP won't work with notebooks.

In terms of changes, under Windows 10 platforms this new update removes flip timing and event notification bugs, fixes the issue where hot plugging a device is ignored in certain conditions and cleans up the unexpected behavior related to multi-HMD (helmet-mounted device).

In addition to that, version 361.43 also resolves the lag in Star Wars Battlefront with SLI enabled after updating to 359.06 but also reconfigures GM20x’s clock speeds.

When it comes to the other OSes (except for XP), NVIDIA’s release fixes G-SYNC windowed mode is not totally disabled at the UMD (user-mode display) when the VR display is active, and prevents extra hotplugs or unplugs from unconnected devices.

Moreover, it updates the whitelist entry regkey so that multiple entries are allowed at once, and also reconfigures clock speeds for GM20x GPU models, just like with Windows 10 platforms.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 361.43, apply it on your system, and perform a reboot upon completion to allow all changes to take effect properly. Also, constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
