Just now, NVIDIA has announced the availability of its new GeForce 355.60 and Quadro 355.60 Beta graphics drivers, which are targeted at all operating systems, including Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.

In terms of changes, the GeForce release is basically the Game Ready driver that provides the “best gaming experience for Ashes of the Singularity preview.” Moreover, it also includes beta support for GameWorks VR SDK (VR SLI, Context Priority, Direct Mode, and Front Buffer Rendering).

As for the 355.60 beta Quadro version, this update adds compatibility with stereoscopic 3D when using DirectX 12 apps (not available on Fermi GPUs), maintains support for cross adapter clone mode, allows switching displays via hot-keys, and implements various workstation fixes and improvements.

When it comes to the downloadable packages, NVIDIA has provided several executables that are suitable for most of its GeForce and Quadro GPUs (both desktop and notebook models).

Specifically speaking, the GeForce release is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 operating systems, both bit variants. However, bear in mind that notebooks powered by XP or Vista aren’t valid for this new version.

On the other hand, the Quadro packages can only be applied on OSes such as Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, either 32- or 64-bit architecture.
