NVIDIA has provided a new GeForce graphics release, namely 387.98 hotfix, which resolves the shutter spotted when playing on an external G-SYNC monitor, and adds support back for Alienware notebooks with GM204 GPUs (965M, 970M, and 980M).

In terms of supported platforms, this new release is suitable for both notebook and desktop configurations powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems (either 32- and 64-bit variants).

When it comes to installation, first of all, make sure to save the appropriate package suitable for your system configuration, and close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade.

If all is ok, run the downloaded executable, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.

Last but not least, once the upgrade has finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, however, make sure to carry it out manually.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 387.98 Hotfix, apply it on your device, and enjoy your newly-improved system. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
