A few moments ago, NVIDIA’s team announced the availability of a new display driver compatible with both GeForce and Quadro chipsets, namely version 355.58, which provides beta support for OpenGL 2015 ARB extensions, as well as OpenGL ES 3.2.

In terms of operating systems, the producer has rolled out 2 downloadable executables targeted at Windows XP platforms, as well as 2 additional files suitable for Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes, one for each bit variant.

As for the supported graphics processing unit (GPU), this release can be applied only on configurations including at least one Fermi, Kepler, or Maxwell based GPUs. In order to check out the full list of valid products, be sure to click the Release Notes button below.

Moreover, you will also be able to read information about the new OpenGL 2015 ARB extensions required by certain chipset models.

When it comes to installation, simply ensure your system configuration is supported by NVIDIA’s 355.58 version, save and run the appropriate files for your computer, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot (either manually or giving the wizard permission to do so) so that all changes can take effect properly.

That being said, download NVIDIA OpenGL 4.5 Graphics Driver 355.58 Beta, apply it on your computer, and enjoy the new OpenGL 2015 and ES 3.2 functionalities. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
