The new packages fix Titanfall 2 intermittent game crash

AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition graphics driver, namely the 16.10.3 hotfix (16.40.2911.1001 ), which removes a bug that caused intermittent Titanfall 2 game crashes for certain Graphics Core Next (GCN) architectures.

The available files can be applied to either 32- or 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, and are suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations. However, before saving any package, make sure your GPU model is supported by this release.

Another aspect to be taken into account is that the current update might still encounter a few known issues, such as The Division corruptions, Radeon Software popup errors, FIFA 17 hangs or black screen, as well as other problems highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, save the appropriate file for your system configuration, remove any Crimson version currently running on your computer, close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade, and run the downloaded executable.

After it extracts all files, follow the instructions displayed on-screen, and perform a system reboot upon completion to allow the changes to take effect. If this latter task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually, just to be safe.

Therefore, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.10.3 Hotfix, install it, perform a reboot once finished, and check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
