NVIDIA has announced the availability of its new Game Ready Graphics driver, namely the 397.93 GeForce update, which improves performance for The Crew 2 Closed Beta and State of Decay 2 titles.

In addition to that, the current release includes support for CUDA 9.2, removes the bug that prevented enabling/disabling SLI mode when Steam was running, and fixes the Wolfenstein II freeze events seen in the Roosevelt area.

Moreover, version 397.93 makes sure GeForce GTX 870M GPU acceleration is not used for Windows Explorer, removes a glitch in Digital Vibrance setting (regarding Surround), and resolves the Far Cry 5 green flickering encountered when using HDR with non-native resolution.

Last but not least, NVIDIA also addresses a few issues regarding Pascal GPU + Kepler GPU combination, removes the Experience Improvement Program from the NVIDIA Control Panel, and makes sure all color formats are available when Windows HDR is enabled.

As for the operating systems, the update is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms (either desktop or notebooks). Also, take into account that NVIDIA TITAN V configurations running on Windows 7 64-bit require a separate driver.

Regarding installation, ensure this release supports your GPU model, save and run the appropriate package for your OS, follow all on-screen instructions, and perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 397.93, apply it on your computer, and regularly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available for download.
