Intel has rolled out a new BIOS package targeted at its STK2mv64CC compute stick, namely version 0051, which manages to update the device’s MEBx and uCode, thus improving the overall stability and usability.

In terms of installation, the producer has provided several downloadable files describing three different flashing methods: Recovery, iflash, and Express BIOS Update procedures; make sure you choose the appropriate one.

The Recovery file is used for an F7 BIOS Update technique, whereas the iflash-related archive can apply the new version only from a USB or CD drive, and only through a DOS command prompt.

As for the 2 Express BIOS Update executables, if you intend to use them, you must run these packages directly from a Windows 8.1 or 10 platform (a file for each bit architecture). However, make sure not to interrupt the upgrade process in any way, as this can lead to serious malfunctions.

Either way, while installing, make sure not to turn off/reboot the device, remove the power cable, or interrupt the process in any way. Doing so can cause serious device malfunctions and might even render the device unstable.

With this in mind, download Intel STK2mv64CC Compute Stick BIOS 0051, take into account all aspects highlighted above, and constantly check our website to know when a newer version is available.
