Microsoft has made available the download link for its May 2016 cumulative firmware and drivers pack developed for Surface Pro 4 devices, which will install several new driver versions on this tablet.

Specifically speaking, Intel’s AVStream Camera 2500, Control Logic, CSI2 Host Controller, and Imaging Signal Processor 2500 drivers, as well as Microsoft’s Camera Front, Camera Rear, and IR Camera Front drivers will all be updated to version 30.10586.7035.1976.

In addition to that, the producer has also decided to apply the same 30.10586.7035.1976 version for its Surface Camera drivers set in order to improve Windows Hello stability.

In terms of installation, save and unzip the downloadable archive on your Surface unit, install all drivers included, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful installation.

Still, don’t forget that this package is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform. Also, after applying the present release, it would be a good idea to reboot your tablet manually (if not requested automatically), to ensure all changes take effect properly.
