Microsoft has just made available the download links for its June firmware and driver packages compatible with Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3 tablets, which improve wireless connection stability, enhance audio performance, and more.

To be more specific, the Pro 3 flagship receives SATA AHCI driver 9.4.0.1028, improved wireless stability, experience, and download performance (via the 15.68.3091.193 driver), as well as a UEFI update (3.11.950.0) that should add support for new Windows 10 features.

As for the Surface 3 tablet, besides the same 15.68.3091.193 network driver, this device also benefits from enhanced audio (603.9600.2563.61816) and improved graphics (10.18.14.4175) stability and performance, as well as improved webcam image and video quality (20.9600.3444.120).

In addition to that, the latter tablet gets its Surface Cover experience enhanced through the new System Aggregator Firmware 1.0.49500.0, and receives additional functionality with the Surface app via Surface Pen Settings driver update 4.0.112.1.

When it comes to installation, the present release can be applied either automatically through Microsoft’s Windows Update service, or manually by downloading and installing the appropriate package.

Through Microsoft’s Windows Update service, all customers will receive each new firmware, but in stages. This means you might not receive it right now.

If you are anxious about this release and want it now, then save the downloadable file for your device model manually, and apply it on your Surface tablet.

With this in mind, download Microsoft Surface 3 Firmware June 2015 or download Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Firmware June 2015, install it, and check our website as often as possible as we’ll keep you posted when a newer update is available.
