Just now, Leshcat has rolled out a new version of the AMD Catalyst UnifL Graphics driver, namely 16.2.1 v1.0, which might be the developer’s last release. However, if needed, there will be LTS (Long Term Support).

In terms of changes, the present update re-adds all “Legacy” card support (4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 8000 series, including various Desktop variants), and incorporates “Legacy” Catalyst Control Center 2 (CCC2) into this version.

Moreover, the 16.2.1 v1.0 package unlocks “CCC-Next” and “CCC2” profiles, enables DX9 performance fix for all AMD cards, sets and fixes various HDMI issues, as well as black screens on application run, screen sharing and teamview-ing.

In addition to that, the developer has elevated driver versions and dates to prevent them from being overwritten by WU drivers, disabled “EnableUlps” parameter (set to 0), and enabled “KMD_EnableCrossGpuDisplaySupport” and “PP_SCLKDEEPSLEEPDISABLE” parameters.

When it comes to the files included, Leshcat installs the 15.301.1901.0000 AMD graphics driver, as well as the 7.12.0.7723 (Windows 7), 9.0.0.9910 (Windows 8.1), or 10.0.0.02 ((Windows 10) AMD HDMI audio version.

As for Intel, the developer used its 8.15.10.2900 (Legacy), 9.17.10.4229 (Modern), 10.18.10.4358 (Iris), and 20.19.15.4300 (Iris Pro, Haswell, Broadwell, Skylake) drivers, which will be installed depending on your computer configuration.

Last but not least, as far compatibility goes, the 16.2.1 v1.0 Leshcat release can be used on both desktop and notebook systems running under Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 platforms, and only the 64-bit variants.

Therefore, to make use of these changes, download Leshcat AMD UnifL Catalyst Graphics Driver 16.2.1, apply it, and perform a system reboot once completed. Also, constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
