14 DAY TRIAL // KLANG:technologies just released a new OS update for KLANG:fabrik and KLANG:vier 3D in-ear monitor mixing systems. The new update brings numerous new features and improvements.
KLANG:Fabrik now has various IO Configurations, such as 24in/8mixes, 56in/3mixes or 12in/16mixes, and 50 percent more input channel count. Both devices receive major improvements for loading and storing show files and snapshots, template names for faster channel labeling and a new Orbit view interface.
In addition, the new version adds ZeroConf IP address configuration option for use without DHCP server and user independent relative Group Mixing. It also fixes bugs from the previous version and improves stability.
Moreover, KOS V2.1 brings major updates for Dante software as well. The software currently includes the latest Audinate Brooklyn II release, AES67 audio-over-IP interoperability and advance switch configurations including Multicast filters. The issue with IP address assignments is fixed too.
In order to update your devices, you must download and install Dante Firmware Update Manager application. After you open the app, in the interface selection screen, select the primary Dante network, then click on "Update Dante Firmware." Click "Browse" button, navigate to the directory where your firmware files are saved, and select the required Dante firmware update file.
After the Firmware Update Manager scans for devices that match the firmware update file, select those you wish to update by clicking the associated checkboxes and hit "Start." When the update is complete, reboot the Dante devices.
