The new release resolves DirectX 11 games screen flickering

Intel has announced the availability of a new Iris and HD Graphics driver build, namely version 20.19.15.4474 beta, which promises to resolve various screen flickering problems spotted with some DirectX11 games.

This issue was caused by the operating system (it used 1080i instead of 1080p), and even though it’s not Intel’s fault, the producer has implemented a workaround by removing the interlaced modes (1080i) from the list shown as supported by the system.

Considering this, if you want to apply the new package, first save the appropriate one for your configuration: there are two available files that are compatible with Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 platforms, one for each 32- and 64-bit architecture.

In addition to that, make sure to check the supported CPU list and see if your computer is using one of the models listed. If not, then the present release won’t work for you.

Now, you save the proper archive, extract it, locate and run the available setup file, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, make sure to carry it out manually.

That said, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 20.19.15.4474 Beta, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
