Intel has just announced the availability of a new version of its Iris and HD Graphics drivers, namely 10.18.14.4251, which fixes flickering corruptions when resuming from S3 sleep state, the OpenGL shaders crash problems, and much more.

Specifically speaking, this update resolves errors or black screen issues when using two 4K monitors connected to a DP hub, as well as the one where a display would black out when using 3 monitors in extended mode.

In addition to that, through this 4251 build the CUI Rotation hot keys will work properly, no problems will be encountered when trying to launch CUI in Spanish single language OS, and no flashing display corruptions will be spotted when running 3DMark Vantage.

Moreover, Intel’s release includes more changes, as well as known issues that you should check by reading the Release Notes below.

As for compatibility, this version can be applied on system configurations that include a 4th or 5th generation Core processors, or a Core M CPU, and which are powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 platforms (either bit variant).

Therefore, save and unzip the appropriate package for your device, run the available setup, and follow all instructions for a successful upgrade. Also, upon completion, make sure to perform a system reboot in order to allow all changes to take effect.
