The new update includes support for Windows 10 platforms

Intel has just announced the availability of a new display driver developed for its 3rd-generation Core processors, namely version 10.18.10.4252, which allows these components to work properly in both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.

However, bear in mind that this release is only targeted at 3rd-gen Core CPUs that benefit from HD Graphics 2500 and 4000, as well as at Intel’s Atom Processor Z3700 series. Do not try to apply them on other configurations, as this can lead to various malfunctions.

In terms of changes, the producer highlights that it hasn’t made any improvements whatsoever - just Windows 10 support. Still, take into account that the driver isn’t digitally signed for this OS, thus your computer will alert you with a message (you can continue the installation anyways).

Moreover, build 4252 is provided as is and with no Intel support for any graphics issues that might be encountered. However, Intel would appreciate feedback on any problems you discover, as well as suggestions for future driver releases.

As for installation, simply ensure your system configuration is valid for this update, save and unzip the appropriate package for your OS bit architecture, run the available setup, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete and successful upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system restart in order to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually.

That being said, download Intel HD Graphics Driver 10.18.10.4252 for Windows 10, take into account all the aforementioned aspects, upgrade your video chipset, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
