Intel adds Ethernet Connection I219-V and I219-LM support

Intel has announced the availability of a new Ethernet Connections CD package, namely version 20.4.1, which adds compatibility with the producer’s I219-V and I219-LM Ethernet Connections.

When it comes to the downloadable archive, this file includes all Ethernet network drivers and software compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Server 2008, and Server 2012 operating systems, as well as with the currently supported Linux and FreeBSD platforms.

However, take into account that Teams and VLANs are not supported under either 32- or 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.

As for the compatible devices, this CD is to be used with certain Intel Ethernet controller and server adapters, as highlighted in the Release Notes below. Also, don’t forget that not all components are supported under every version of the compatible OSes, as they might not be valid for those platforms.

In addition to that, since the separate packages for each platform aren’t available yet, please take into account that this archive is targeted at users who need all drivers for all operating systems in a single file.

Considering this aspect, if you desire to save it on your computer, it would be a good idea to use a download manager due to the large file size (240 MB).

With this in mind, download Intel Ethernet Connections CD 20.4.1, install it, make sure to reboot your computer to allow all changes to take effect, and constantly check our website for more news on this fresh version.
