Intel has just rolled out a new Iris and HD Graphics driver fit for the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system, namely version 23.20.16.4877, which increases performance and solves several problems for numerous games.

Specifically speaking, the current release intensifies the gaming experience in Spintires: Mudrunner, Football Manager 2018, Hand of Fate 2, World of Final Fantasy, Need for Speed: Payback, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, Black Mirror, and SEVEN: The Days Long Gone titles.

In addition to that, Intel improves load times, performance, and playability when using DirectX11 and playing Total War: WARHAMMER II, Star Wars Battlefront II, Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 1, Rise of the Tomb Raider, or F1 2016.

If applied, the 4877 build also fixes graphics anomalies in Civilization 6 (DX11), Forza 7 (DX12), and Talos Principle (DX12), resolves crashes/hangs in The Surge, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and SOMA, and implements several other improvements highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Knowing these aspects, if you want to apply this package, save and extract the downloadable archive, find and run the available setup file, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task is not requested automatically, make sure to carry it out manually.

That said, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 23.20.16.4877, apply it to benefit from these new changes, and always check our website to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
