Intel has announced the availability of a new version for its Ethernet Adapters Connections CD, namely build 22.0.1, which includes support for a large number of adapters and connections, and might improve stability and performance as well.

To be clear, through this new update, the producer adds support for X722 for 10GBASE-T, 10GbE backplane, 10GbE SFP+, and 1GbE Ethernet Connections, as well as for the XXV710 for 25GbE backplane and XXV710 for 25GbE SFP28 Ethernet Controllers.

Moreover, version 22.0.1 is also compatible with Intel’s XXV710, XXV710-1, XXV710-2, and OCP XXV710-1 Ethernet Network Adapters, and the X553 10 GbE SFP+, X553, X553-AT 10GBASE-T, X557-AT 10GBASE-T, X553 1GbE, Backplane Ethernet Connections.

Last but not least, you should also know that Intel’s release includes support for X722 and X553 Virtual Functions, the Ethernet Connection (3) I219-LM, as well as for iWARP (Internet Wide Area RDMA Protocol) on Windows Server 2012 R2 and later.

When it comes to compatibility, the downloadable archive can be applied on Microsoft’s Windows 7 and latest operating systems, as well as on Linux and FreeBSD platforms. However, take into account that not all adapters are suitable for each and every one of the supported OSes.

In addition to that, don’t forget that this archive is recommended for users who need all drivers for all platforms in a single file. Also, you might want to use a download manager, as the file size is large (a little less than 300mb).

Considering all these aspects, download Intel Ethernet Connections CD 22.0.1, install it, make sure to reboot your computer to allow all changes to take effect, and constantly check our website for more news on this new version.
