The update adds Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators features

Intel has announced the availability of a new Graphics driver, namely version 23.20.16.4849, which adds support for Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators update features; thus users can experience HDR playback and streaming on systems with Intel HD Graphics 620 or better.

In addition to that, supported configurations can fully use Windows Mixed Reality features (a headset is required), play Netflix HDR and YouTube HDR content, and display the magic of The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game.

Besides these improvements, this new driver also implements performance optimizations Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, Destiny 2, Call of Duty: WWII, and Divinity: Original Sin 2.

When it comes to fixes, Intel’s 4849 build removes graphical anomalies seen in Divinity: Original Sin 2, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, and Blu-ray playback, as well as resolves the intermittent crashes/hangs encountered in DOTA 2 (Vulkan version),

Moreover, the update enhances memory usage in OpenCL applications, includes several security improvements, adds support for DXIL (including DirectX 12 Shader 6.0 and 6.1), and installs the 2.3 WDDM driver.

Regarding compatibility, the producer has provided one downloadable archive suitable for Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit operating systems and provides support for configurations that includes one of the graphics chipsets listed in the Release Notes below.
