AMD has announced the availability of its new 17.Q3.1 Radeon Pro and FirePro Unified Graphics package, which resolves the unexpected display error spotted when MGPU single-large-screen is set to max resolution.

Moreover, compared to the previous 17.Q3 AMD FirePro/Radeon Pro Driver, the current update also improves compatibility between WX4100 and certain 8K monitors when running DX applications, as well as between WX7100 and some 8K panels when using dual DisplayPort cables.

In terms of supported OSes, the available package is suitable for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, 10 operating systems, as well as with the Server 2016 platform. Also, it should be used only on AMD’s Radeon Pro Duo/WX-series or FirePro S/W-series cards.

Therefore, if your configuration is supported by this update, then save and run the executable, wait for it to extract all required files for this installation, and close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade.

Afterwards, simply follow all the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete, and don’t forget to perform a system reboot so that all changes can take effect properly. If the wizard doesn’t request it automatically, make sure to perform this step manually.

That said, download AMD FirePro/Radeon Pro Graphics Driver 17.Q3.1, apply it on your workstation, and enjoy the new VR experience. Also, check our website as often as possible to be up to speed with the latest releases.
