Today, Fujifilm has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with its X-T1 and X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition digital cameras, namely version 4.20, which implements Auto Focus (AF) settings in manual focus, and more.

Specifically speaking, the camera’s focus and exposure can be locked when AF-L button is used in manual focus mode. However, you must lock AF and AE (Auto Exposure) with your thumb to be able to capture an image.

Moreover, the new update adds Focus Zoom option in AF + MF (Manual Focus) menu. Also, it allows the AF-L button to lock focus in AF + MF mode, thus giving owners the ability to adjust focus more accurately using the lens's focusing ring.

In addition to that, the producer extends compatibility with various other flashguns that can be used for bracketing and burst photography. However, the flashgun must be charged properly between shooting; otherwise, the whole process will slow down.

Moving forward with the changes, Fujifilm’s release adds additional Custom Display options, such as Focus Frame, Information Background, Blur Warning, Shutter Type, and various other shooting modes.

In terms of installation, make sure to perform this process properly (should take around 90 seconds), as failing to carry out the upgrade might cause the camera to no longer operate properly.

That said, download Fujifilm X-T1 Camera Firmware 4.20, carefully apply it on your imaging device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
