The release fixes an issue with motor feedrate encountered when Static Time was maxed out

eMotimo has made available a new firmware package targeted at its TB3 Black 3-axis motion control camera robot, namely version 1.1.108 SP2, which can be applied using the latest Arduino 1.0.5 or Arduino 1.0.7 Beta software.

This newly released update fixes an issue where the power settings weren’t applied to the Ext. Triggering mode, as well as a problem with the motor feedrate when the Static Time was maxed out.

Bear in mind that, even though the TB3 is a smart device, it must be programmed correctly in order to get high-quality shots. Therefore, make sure the static time is no more than 0.1 seconds longer than the exposure.

As for upgrading to this version, after installing the Arduino software, save and extract the downloadable package (do not rename any of the files or folders created), and run the “eMotimo_TB3_BLACK_R1_1_108” file.

Now connect the TB3 system to the computer using a USB cable, ensure you have selected the correct board and serial port, press the checkbox button to compile the new code, and then the upload button to apply the new code to your device (this will take about 20 to 40 seconds).

Upon completion, an “Upload Complete” message will be displayed in the status bar announcing that you can remove the USB cable and go out and play.

Therefore, download eMotimo TB3 Black Motion Control Robot Firmware 1.1.108 SP2, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
