Today, ASRock has rolled out new BIOS updates targeted at several of its motherboards, which update Intel Management Engine (ME) and Microcode, CPU C-state auto rule, as well as Network, NVMe, and Instant Flash modules.

In addition to that, the producer has also managed to improve the motherboards’ overall DRAM compatibility and implement Above 4G decoding item support. However, take into account that not all changes apply to each and every one of the supported devices.

When it comes to the updated boards, ASRock has provided a 1.20 BIOS suitable for the H110M-DGS R3.0 unit, a 2.20 version for its Z270M-ITX/ac and B250M-HDV models, and BIOS 3.40 for the Fatal1ty X99X Killer/3.1 device.

Moreover, users can also download a 7.40 BIOS targeted at Z170 Extreme7+, H110M-DVS R2.0, and H110M-DGS R2.0 devices, a 7.10 BIOS suitable for the H110M-HDVP unit, as well as a 2.10 update package compatible with several motherboard models (see the complete list below).

In terms of installation, you should know that the producer has provided three update files for each motherboard that allow its users to flash the BIOS through different methods: Instant Flash, DOS, and Windows.

Specifically speaking, while Instant Flash download must be extracted onto a removable storage and executed from within the BIOS setup menu, the Windows package is to be unzipped and run from a Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 operating system.

As for the DOS download, the file included within this archive must be executed from a DOS prompt. Either way, upon completion, make sure to reboot your computer and load the default BIOS settings to be sure no problems will be encountered.

That said, from the links below, follow the one best describing your device model, download the file suitable for your desired upgrade method, and apply the latest BIOS on your motherboard.
