The new versions are suitable for Windows 7 and 10 64-bit

AMD has announced the availability of new graphics drivers developed for its latest Vega Frontier and RX Vega video cards, namely versions 17.8.1 Beta 6 and 17.30.1051, respectively, which ensure compatibility with Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating systems (only for 64-bit architectures).

While the 17.30.1051 update only implements support for Radeon RX Vega series graphics products on OSes mentioned above, the 17.8.1 Beta 6 driver improves Maxon Cinema 4D R19 Beta compatibility and fixes the intermittent system instability when rendering using Blender.

However, bear in mind that both releases might still encounter flickerings, visual corruptions, hangs/crashes, or unexpected behavior when rendering certain applications or games.

With this in mind, if you intend to apply one of these two new versions, first save and run the appropriate package compatible with your configuration and system platform, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen.

Once finished, make sure to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition Graphics Driver 17.8.1 Beta 6 or download AMD Radeon Crimson ReLive RX Vega Driver 17.30.1051, apply it on your system, and check back with our website to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
