Leica has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its M10 digital camera, namely version 1.3.4.0, which implements a few bug fixes and minor enhancements that should improve the camera’s overall stability and usability.

Specifically speaking, the present release changes the color-coding of the SD card and battery status (goes from green to yellow to red as it is discharged/filled), and allows owners to select up to 15 items for the favorites menu by adding a second favorites page.

In addition to that, version 1.3.4.0 gives users the ability to quickly access the main favorites menu and scroll through the main menu page-by-page using the menu button, adds new options in the EVF/display control menu, as well as implements various other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes.

When it comes to installation, first of all make sure the camera’s battery is fully charged, save the downloadable file, transfer it onto a formatted SD card, and insert it into the imaging unit while turned off.

Afterward, power on the M10 camera, go to Main Menu > Camera Information > Camera Firmware, press “Yes” to confirm and start the process, and wait patiently until the installation is completed.

That said, download Leica M10 Camera Firmware 1.3.4.0, carefully apply it on your imaging unit to enjoy these new changes, and check our website as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
