Just now, Dovado has rolled out two new firmware packages targeted at its wireless routers, namely version 8.4.4 suitable for PRO, PRO AC, and Tiny AC models, as well as the 7.3.15 update compatible with the producer’s Tiny, Go, and DOMA models.

In terms of changes, the 8.4.4 update now allows enabling/disabling WLAN via WEB, SMS and API, fixes traffic counter issues, sends connection notification via the tracker's redial, and includes support for Netgear AirCard 810s and Huawei E5577-321 mobile hotspots.

Moreover, the firmware will also resolve WiFi credentials testing through SpotBoost (when SSID contains a space), and will make sure SpotBoost WiFi-Tethering works properly even when WLAN has been disabled.

When it comes to the 7.3.15 update, this release corrects several issues regarding the compatible units' Connection Tracker, adds support for Vodafone K5160 and MegaFon M150-2 4G USB modems, D-Link DWM-157 (HW Rev. C) 3G devices, and a few more.

As for installation, simply save and unzip the appropriate archive for your router model, log into its administration page, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade page, select the newly extracted .bin file, and hit “Start HTTP Upgrade.”

Therefore, to benefit from these changes, download Dovado Router Firmware 7.3.15 or download Dovado Router Firmware 8.4.4 depending on your device, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
