Just now, Dovado has made available two new firmware updates targeted at its routers, namely version 7.3.17 compatible with the Tiny, Go, and Doma devices, as well as the 8.4.6 release suitable for its Pro, Pro AC, and Tiny AC models.

In terms of changes, these small updates only include support for Huawei’s new E5377s-606 USB mobile hotspot. However, both firmware package might also implement certain improvements regarding stability and performance.

When it comes to installation, you should know that this process can be performed on both Windows and Mac OS X platforms by downloading and running the appropriate utility, and following the instructions displayed on the screen.

Moreover, you can also apply the new versions regardless of the platform installed on your system. Simply get and extract the proper firmware compatible with your router and log into the device’s web user interface.

Now go to “Upgrade,” click the “HTTP Upgrade” option, then the “Browse” button, and navigate to the firmware file (.bin format) located within the newly created folder. Afterwards, select the .bin file and click “Start HTTP Upgrade.”

At this point the router will automatically transfer the new version and initiate the update process (which should take about 3 minutes to complete). Bear in mind that, while the installation is in progress, you mustn’t power off or use the router so that no update failure is encountered.

That said, download Dovado Router Firmware 8.4.6 or download Dovado Router Firmware 7.3.17, take into account all the above-mentioned aspects, and apply the new version on your router.
