The update fixes minor issues with Desktop and Mobile UI

Dovado has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with its Pro, Pro AC, and Tiny AC router models, namely version 8.4.3, which promises to fix some minor issues regarding the Desktop and Mobile User Interface, as well as to allow space symbol in FTP passwords.

If you want to benefit from these changes, first of all, make sure that your wireless unit isn’t already running the present version (or newer). If all is OK, save and unzip the downloadable archive for your router model, and log into the dashboard (username and password are required).

Now, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, click the Browse button, navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit Start HTTP Upgrade, and allow the router to do its job (it takes about 3 minutes to complete).

Bear in mind that you mustn’t power off, use any of the router’s buttons, or interrupt the installation process in any way, as this will cause an update failure that can lead to serious device malfunctions and can even render the device unusable.

With this in mind, download DOVADO Router Firmware 8.4.3 for your specific device model, take into account all the aspects mentioned above, and apply the latest version to your router. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
