Today, DisplayLink has rolled out a new version of its USB Graphics driver, namely build 8.0 M2, which manages to fix the manager’s loop crashes encountered on some Windows 10 TH2 (Threshold 2) configurations and more.

Specifically speaking, the present update resolves Dell Display Manager compatibility issues with some DELL monitors connected via DisplayPort and fixes the DisplayLink User Agent high CPU usage on some configurations.

In addition to that, build 8.0 M2 makes sure 2nd audio recordings taken with Windows Recorder on Windows 10 RS1 (RedStone 1) configurations won’t be abnormal, and Skylake graphics adapters won’t encounter video freezes with some USB monitors.

When it comes to supported OSes, the present driver is suitable for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Do not try applying it on other platforms as this isn’t recommended and might also lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, if you want to use the current release, save and run the downloadable executable, close all programs and processes that might interfere with the installation, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.
