ASUS has announced the availability of a new firmware package developed for its ZenPad 3S 10 LTE tablet (model number Z500KL), namely version 5.4.1, which adds a better Google security patch, revises the translation, and implements several Apps updates.

In addition to that, the producer managed to resolve “Stop scanning when rotating device,” “WiFi would be enabled after Hotspot is disabled,” and “Plug in cable when full, but led turn on orange for a while” issues.

When it comes to installation, make sure to familiarize yourself with the update steps using the tablet’s manual. Also, take into account that this upgrade is only for WW SKU; applying a wrong SKU may cause an update failure and, possibly, malfunctions.

The firmware upgrade cannot transfer the tablet’s SKU (a.k.a. stock keeping unit) or install an earlier Android operating system.

Therefore, check your current firmware and make sure it isn’t either newer or matching the present release, save the downloadable archive using a download manager (the file size is around 1.5 GB), and follow the instructions provided in the device’s manual.

With this in mind, download ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 LTE Z500KL Tablet Firmware 5.4.1 WW, carefully apply it on your unit, and check our website as often as possible to be aware when a newer version is available for your device.
