Today, ASUS has announced the availability of two new firmware packages targeted at its RT-AC51U and RT-AC1200G+ router models, namely versions 3.0.0.4.380.3625 and 3.0.0.4.380.3971, respectively.

In terms of changes, the producer has managed to fix Movistar Triple VLAN issues for its RT-AC1200G+ unit, as well as the Vodafone VLAN100 lack of LAN4 issues experienced by the RT-AC51U router.

Moreover, the latter device also receives Hinet profile support and its US, CA, and BZ tcode values will use 192.168.50.1 as default LAN IP.

Regarding installation, just save and unzip the downloadable archive compatible with your router, establish a wired connection between the device and a computer, and log into its administration page.

Afterwards, go to the Firmware Upgrade section, hit “Browse,” navigate and select the newly extracted firmware file, click “Upload,” and wait as the router applies the new firmware.

Still, take into account that removing the Ethernet/power cable from either device, turning off the router or the computer, or interrupting this process in any way can lead to serious malfunctions.

Therefore, download ASUS RT-AC1200G+ Firmware 3.0.0.4.380.3971 or download ASUS RT-AC51U Firmware 3.0.0.4.380.3625, apply it and enjoy the changes brought by this new update. Also, constantly check our website to be up to speed with the latest releases.
