AMD HAS rolled out its new 17.8.1 Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition driver that sets the tone for the latest RX Vega product series, besides all gaming improvements implemented for Agents of Mayhem and Quake Champions Early Access titles.

Moreover, the present update will also make sure Tekken 7 won’t crash at Chapter 13 on some Radeon RX 380 cards, Grand Theft Auto V won’t experience intermittent hangs/crashes, and certain HDR enabled TV's will have no HDMI signal loss whatsoever.

In addition to that, the producer manages to fix the long or extended load times experienced in Forza Horizon 3, the FreeSync display stuttering, brightness, and flickering issues spotted when watching fullscreen videos, as well as a few other problems highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the 17.8.1 release consists of 4 downloadable packages targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, as well as a “Minimal Setup Utility” suitable for all OSes mentioned above.

Therefore, save the appropriate package for your configuration, remove any previous version of Radeon Crimson from your computer, run the 17.8.1 package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a reboot (either manually or automatically) to allow all changes to take effect properly.
