AMD has just announced the availability of its new 15.6 beta Catalyst Graphics driver, which includes various optimizations for Warner Bros.’s highly-awaited title, namely Batman: Arkham Knight.

However, since this update is still a beta stage, you should know that AMD Crossfire support isn’t currently available for this game. This will remain disabled until the producer and Warner Bros. come up with a fix for the issue.

In addition to that, Batman: Arkham Knight might also crash during benchmarking or when exiting the game, or experience a black/pink screen while changing the resolution to 1680 x 1050 pixels.

As for the downloadable packages, AMD has provided 4 files suitable for each 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. We do not recommend applying them on other OSes, even though the installation might seem to work.

With this in mind, if you intend to upgrade your computer, first make sure your video chipset is supported by this release (detailed in the Release Notes), save the appropriate package for your system configuration, run the executable, and follow all instructions displayed on screen.

Last but not least, once completed, don’t forget to perform a system reboot in order to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That being said, download AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver 15.6 Beta, apply it on your system, and constantly check our website in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
