AMD has now provided its users with several new packages that improve overall gaming performance, stability, and Virtual Reality (VR) experience, namely Radeon Crimson 16.5.1 Hotfix, Vulkan 16.15.2401.1001 May 3 Beta, and FirePro Liquid VR 16.5.1 Beta versions.

Regarding changes, since the producer doesn’t highlight any improvements or fixes for its Vulkan and FirePro releases, I assume they might implement minor enhancements as well as resolve issues.

As for the Crimson 16.5.1 hotfix, this update improves support for Forza Motorsport 6: Apex and increases its gaming performance by up to 27% compared to the previous AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.4.2 running on Radeon R9 Fury X GPU.

When it comes to compatibility, each of the versions mentioned above benefits from two downloadable files compatible with the 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems.

If you intend to install these files, first save the one suitable for your computer’s bit architecture and system configuration, remove any previous version currently on your device, and apply the downloaded one after a reboot.

Bear in mind that, even though other OSes might seem valid at first, it isn’t recommended trying to update the present graphics packages on platforms other than the ones above. Doing so can lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, from the links below, download the file your computer needs, install it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
