AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition graphics driver, namely 16.9.2 hotfix, which should improve the overall gaming experience for Forza Horizon 3 and add a new Dreadnought CrossFire profile for DirectX 11.

In addition to that, the present release fixes several issues spotted on certain Radeon RX 400 Series configurations, such as the intermittent mouse cursor corruption, the Mozilla Firefox crashes during video playback, as well as the Rocket League flickering when running AMD CrossFire mode.

Moreover, AMD resolves the Ashes of the Singularity crash events when Multi-GPU is enabled in DirectX12, and makes sure no stutter will be experienced when using AMD CrossFire mode and DirectX11 in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

If applied, this hotfix driver will also correct flickering on portrait Eyefinity configurations, ensure that Radeon Settings won’t reset to defaults after an upgrade, and removes the bug that leads to HDMI Audio loss after resuming from standby in Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.

Last but not least, the producer highlights that its present update makes sure no Radeon Settings errors are experienced after changing game profiles on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, and Radeon HD 7000 series products won’t cause corruptions in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

As for compatibility, AMD has provided several files suitable for each 32- and 64-bit architectures of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, including the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.
