AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson Graphics driver, namely version 16.5.3 hotfix, which adds Crossfire profile for Total War: Warhammer and Overwatch games and also includes support for Dota 2 with Vulkan API.

In addition to that, the present update fixes Fallout 4 minor stuttering and The Division texture flickering spotted on Crossfire configurations. Additionally, it improves compatibility between Intel Skull Canyon NUC (NUC6i7KYK) and AMD XConnect Technology.

Moreover, AMD’s 16.5.3 hotfix removes the bug that caused Radeon Settings to be erased when installer was launched while Radeon Settings was opened, fixes “Additional Settings” intermittent failures, and makes sure safe unplugging for AMD XConnect Technology won’t result in a BSOD.

Last but not least, the producer also managed to correct an issue where users in Quad AMD Crossfire configurations couldn’t re-enable Crossfire mode when using the global AMD Crossfire option in the “Gaming” tab (toggling from on/off wasn’t responding).

In terms of compatibility, AMD has provided two downloadable packages suitable for Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 platforms, one for each 32- and 64-bit variants. Do no use the files on other OSes, as this can result in malfunctions.
