AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely 16.11.5 hotfix, which provides an improved gaming experience while playing Watch Dogs 2 and adds a new DirectX 11 CrossFire profile for Dishonored 2.

In addition to that, the current update also resolves Battlefield 1 and The Division flickering events when using AMD CrossFire technology mode to play these games.

When it comes to compatibility, there are several downloadable executables suitable for both 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Do not apply them on other OSes as this can lead to various malfunctions.

As for installation, before proceeding with the upgrade, make sure to remove any Crimson graphics driver already running on your computer, and afterward save and run the appropriate package for your configuration.

Moreover, once version 16.11.5 hotfix has been applied, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow the changes to take effect. If the computer doesn’t restart automatically, it would be a good idea to carry out this task manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.11.5 Hotfix, apply it on your computer, perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect, and check back with us as often as possible to be aware when a newer version is available.
