AMD has announced the availability of the September version of its Radeon Software Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely the 17.9.1 Non-WHQL package, which fixes issues with Radeon ReLive Toolbar and Instant Replay features while playing Guild Wars 2.

In addition to that, the producer also resolves Titanfall 2 hangs and crashes spotted on some Radeon GCN1.0 series graphics products, as well as random corruptions appearing in Microsoft desktop productivity apps.

Moreover, the present release makes sure Radeon Software Installer won’t shrink or appear very small on certain 4K HDTVs, and Moonlight Blade will launch on every Radeon Graphics Core Next products.

However, AMD’s release might still experience a few issues with Radeon WattMan, Overwatch, GPU Scaling, Eyefinity, as well as a few other problems highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems (Windows 8.1 is no longer supported),

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Crimson ReLive Graphics Driver 17.9.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
