AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 18.6.1 package, which improves Warhammer: Vermintide 2 performance by up to 9% and 10% when using Radeon RX Vega 56 (8GB) and 580 (8GB) cards, respectively.

This update also resolves the Subnautica black screen experienced on launch and during gameplay, the Sea of Thieves crashes and hangs seen in the Cannon Cove area, as well as the flickering experienced while playing Middle Earth: Shadow of War or World of Warcraft.

In addition to that, the producer corrects the improper Desktop display when using 8K resolution on Radeon Pro Duo, and removes the World Of Tanks square corruptions on some ground textures in multi GPU system configurations.

However, AMD’s release might still experience a few issues with Radeon ReLive, Radeon Chill, and Radeon Overlay, as well as some corruptions in Sea of Thieves and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt titles.

Regarding compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems (Windows 8.1 is no longer supported),

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your computer, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.6.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
