Amazon has rolled out a new firmware developed for its latest Kindle addition, namely firmware 5.9.2 targeted at the 9th Generation Oasis, which manages to implement Audible and Storage Management support for this device.

Specifically speaking, owners will now be able to listen to audiobooks directly from their library or easily switch between reading and listening by simply pairing with Bluetooth device, as well as to free up space on the device using new methods.

Therefore, if you want to benefit from these improvements, get the downloadable .bin file, connect the tablet to it using a USB cable, navigate to the root directory of the Kindle’s internal storage, and copy the downloaded firmware file there.

Afterward, remove the USB cable, go to Home > Menu > Settings > Menu > Update Your Kindle, tap “Ok,” and the tablet will do the rest; just make sure it has a fully charged battery to finish this task properly.

You should also know that the updates can be received over-the-air (OTA) or wirelessly; however, besides an obvious Internet connection, this method requires you to wait for the new firmware to arrive to the tablet, as not all users get it at the same time.

With this in mind, download Amazon Kindle Oasis 9th Generation Firmware 5.9.2, apply the new firmware, and constantly visit our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
