This update resolves a specific camera freeze issue

SIGMA has rolled out a new update targeted at its dp Quattro camera series, namely firmware version 2.00 compatible with dp0, dp1, dp2, and dp3 Quattro models, which adds DNG to the File Format and incorporates SFD (Super Fine Detail) Mode.

In addition to that, the present version improves the electronic level’s accuracy when shooting vertically, removes the bug that prevented ISO 200 from being selected as the high limit in ISO Sensitivity (when using ISO AUTO), and implements a few other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installing this version, first check the currently installed firmware by going to Setup Menu > Information > Version, and see if it isn’t either newer or matching this release. If it is, then no further action is required - simply enjoy your camera.

Otherwise, if the camera is powered by an older software, save the downloadable .bin file onto a formatted SD memory card (must be initialized by the camera), and insert it into the appropriate card slot.

Now go to Setup Menu > Information > Firmware Update, select “Yes” at the “Start Firmware Update?” message, and allow the dp2 camera to do its job. Upon completion, a restart will be automatically performed announcing a successful upgrade.

Therefore, download SIGMA dp Quattro Camera Firmware 2.00 for your specific device model, take into account all aspects as mentioned above, and apply the latest version to stay “updated one minute ago.”
