NVIDIA has just provided its users with a fresh Tesla Graphics update that is part of the R346 release branch, namely version 348.07, which adds support for the producer’s new CUDA 7.0 Toolkit.

When it comes to changes, I should highlight that CUDA 7.0 unifies the device enumeration for CUDA, NVML, and related tools, can now ignore GPUs that have been made inaccessible via cgroups, and include various other new features detailed in the Release Notes below.

As for installation, bear in mind that NVIDIA’s present update is only compatible with the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems, as well as with the same architecture of Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 platforms.

Moreover, your system configuration must also include a supported K-Series or C-, M-, or X-Class graphics card in order for the driver to be successfully applied.

Therefore, make sure both your computer’s OS and GPU are supported by this release, save the downloadable executable, wait for all the required files to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen.

In addition to that, once the new driver has been applied, don’t forget to perform a reboot so that all changes can take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

With this in mind, download NVIDIA Tesla Graphics Driver 348.07, apply it on your system, and enjoy the new changes brought by this release. Also, check back with us as often as possible in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
